BREAKING: I need $12
Issue 47 | December 2022
In an unprecedented revelation, trusted sources recently confirmed that I am in desperate need of $12. I, a junior at Chapman University, was horrified to find out that I ran out of the PantherBucks I was using to buy falafel wraps from the DMAC. This tragedy revealed itself after the guy already rang me up so I was coerced into paying $12 from my debit that I really could have used for groceries or gas.
The majority of campus agrees that I deserve $12. "It sucks to see one of my peers suffer like this. Things are stressful enough with finals and stuff" I recently stated in an interview for the Kumquat. "If just twelve generous students each donated $1, we would raise the necessary funds for this urgent cause," university president Daniele Struppa would likely say if I asked him about it. Despite the outcry, I am still without $12 and everybody remains a bunch of punk-ass dips who hate the underdog.
