Feeling like a first class citizen (Wilkinson student takes class in Keck)
Issue 59 | January 2024
Interterm is over, and it's time to go back to the real world of Wilkinson and say goodbye to the shiny elysium of STEM splendor that was your cozy Keck compsci class. A class in Heaven where even on a cloudy day you could see the stars leading to the entrance of Chapman's Olympus. The big glass doors opened up and welcomed you into the divine land, the Keck Regulars (Smart People) not knowing you'd previously only used the building as a shortcut to your stupid dumb feminist liberal book class that you somehow still got a C in. You finally saw those big and sexy whiteboards like from the movies, with those advanced if-else statements that you never had a chance of understanding.
You took a compsci class in Keck (what a rush to even say). You had a classroom with 500 TVs all over the walls with space for a whiteboard per student. You got to shit in the finest bathrooms and they were even in the same building as your classes! Umm royalty much? You failed that class, but you don't care. For the first time at Chapman, the $80,000 was worth it.
