From the Editor's Desk: May 2021

It's crazy to me that I'm doing my last Kumquat issue right now, but also every day for the past year has been crazy so this kind of tracks. I'm gonna keep this short because I truly love the rest of this issue and want to make sure that we have space for everything, but I just want to say a quick thank you.

Thank you to you, the readers of the Kumquat. The fact that The Kumquat has grown into its own thing that is much larger than me & my co-founder trying to make each other laugh is something I still can't really comprehend and I am very grateful for.

Thank you for your Instagram comments thank you for liking and reposting. ("The Kumquat is taking no prisoners this month" is written on an index card on my desk), thank you for taping the paper issues up on your fridge (nothing made me happier than seeing this at a party)

As much as I've made fun of this school over the past few years, I really do love it and I am going to miss it here//miss you. So, what, I'm a Chapman apologist!! Sue me!!!!

This wasn't that short but I don't care, this is the last time I can flex my complete power.
