From the Editor's Desk: September 2024

Hello, obedient minions and mindless sheep. Tyrant Editor here, and I've been in a great mood lately: the election is coming up!

There is nothing like an American election for a Tyrant like me! With the echo chambers at an all-time high, the media literacy at an all-time low, and many of this glorious country's blue-collar workers tricked into voting against their interests; I'm optimistic this will be a big win for us wealthy and evil overlords.

And not just at a national level! Orange County–god bless its elderly majority–is red as well, meaning that they will vote for laws that will directly impact our college and community, as well as the students who will rent housing from them! Hallelujah!

This is, of course, assuming that students at Chapman University do not register to vote, as is their right in the state of California, even if they are from another state. Yes, that's right, college students CAN REGISTER TO VOTE AT THE STATE OF THEIR COLLEGE RESIDENCE to directly impact the community that is more relevant to them.

But I'm sure that won't happen! You are all too lazy!
