Vaccinated Seniors and Orange Townies in Land Battle for Paul's

Issue 30 | May 2021

News from the front is bleak this week as the resistance fighters of the Chapman-Fully-Vaccinated-Seniors-and-Juniors-over-21-Army have lost another skirmish for social control of Paul's Cocktails.

The battle began around 9:30pm when the first seniors showed up. "We thought it would be smart to get in early, about 30 minutes before standard frat party time, to make sure we had good positioning" said Senior General Carly Kowalski. The freshly minted 21 year olds failed to realize they were in the big leagues now. "I've been here since 4" said Orange Townie and 2nd grade teacher at Cambridge Elementary, Jessica Chamberlain "and I've been drinking since two."

For the first time in history, Dodge Kids and Frat Stars joined forces, desperately trying to gain ground. Regardless, the seniors were thoroughly unprepared, the townies had the place filled, pitchers of beer were scattered everywhere, Nickelback was blasting, not a TikTok sound to be found.

As the night progressed, the CFVSAJ021 Army gained a foothold in the outdoor area, however, the townies reigned dominant over the indoors. Even a 2-weeks-after-double-dose-pfizer student wouldn't dare venture in there. The resistance was forced to retreat this time, but reportedly plans to return next Friday with a coalition of sophomores with really good fakes.
