From the Editor's Desk: June 2025

Happy Pride from your favorite bisexual with a boyfriend. Oh. How rude. I see I haven't introduced myself. Self proclaimed Stink Editor here, and while I could go on and rave about how many more gay people work for the Kumquat now, I'd rather be a little more proactive and list dying federal/state programs that need your help (because Bezos alwaaays needs a tax cut).

The Trevor Project: Currently fundraising for LGBTQ+ youth suicide prevention, crisis services and more due to the federal discontinuation of these programs. Donations are matched 6:1.

Lambda Legal: Pro-bono lawyers fighting nearly 600-anti LGBTQ+ bills moving through state legislators. Donations are matched 3:1

Advocates for Trans Equality (A4TE): Advocate for trans rights in all spaces, including education, employment, healthcare, and more.

LGBTQ Center OC: Local center providing services like free HIV testing, free computer/internet access, immigration resources, transgender wellness, and more.
